Incredible, Personal, and Authentic Tour of Naxos – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of joining the Melanes Village Tour with Ioannis, and it was truly the highlight of my trip. Ioannis picked me up right on time, exactly where I requested, and communication with him beforehand was clear and smooth. Throughout the tour, he was thoughtful and incredibly generous with his time and energy. We began with a visit to a beautiful old monastery, where he explained the history and architecture — and for things he didn’t know in detail, he came prepared with printed explanations in English. From there, we visited the magnificent Kouros statue in the ancient quarry. Sensing my excitement, Ioannis surprised me with an unplanned detour to a stunning marble quarry viewpoint in the mountains, followed by a visit to a marble factory! We then toured his own farm, where I picked fresh lemons and oranges and met the farm animals — a delightful, personal touch. Next, we visited a lovely old village home for a snack of local cheese, olives, and fresh bread on a charming balcony. Afterwards, we visited a historic church and then had a full, delicious meal at a local café — they were so generous, offering me a cocktail, soft drinks, coffee, and several traditional dishes, all of which were delicious. Although the cheese factory in the village wasn’t open, Ioannis kindly took me to a different one closer to Chora so I wouldn't miss the experience. And if all that wasn’t enough, on the way back he found out I hadn’t seen the famous beaches of Naxos — so he extended the tour (which was already almost 5 hours!) and took me for a quick visit to one of the island’s stunning beaches. This tour wasn’t just sightseeing — it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home and life. Ioannis went far above and beyond and made the experience feel unique and tailored just for me. If you’re looking for an authentic, personal, and truly memorable experience in Naxos, do not miss this tour!

Great quite little spot to have breakfast also nice view from the terrace. Also don't follow Google maps here it will take you down a road that your not suppose to drive on and it will take you 20 minutes to backup and get out, lol ask me how I know.

Was a great tour. All by myself and stopped at all the sites and had a great meal and snacks.

We came for an afternoon relaxing time and had pink lemonade, sandwiches and cakes. the food and the drinks were amazing! Also the service was great, nice and kind, very fast!

Wonderful cafe with delicious, fresh food, drinks and reasonable prices. Cute patio, friendly service – we ended up ordering a sandwich to go because everything was just that good. Close drive from the port and very worth a visit. We recommend the omelette and smoothie bowl. Try also the pomegranate/green apple drink!

Really nice and cozy Café in Melanes. You‘ll get fresh water from Kouros Spring. The homemade lemonade and the coffee were delicious. But our breakfast was stunning.

Such a beautiful cafe, the quality of the food, the peace, this place is magical! The coffee was delicious, all the produce is local and the views are amazing. We had the Greek yogurt bowls, drizzled with local honey, which was so good I bought some to take home.

Owner is soooo sweet and genuine. We had the fresh juices and Greek yoghurt with fruit and everything was sourced from his yard. I’ve never tasted such fresh melons! Orange juice was sooo sweet and tasty. And water is free from the springs here.
